1. Who we are

Pulse Design is a web design service based in Iași, Romania. This policy also applies to Pulse Inbox Monitor, an internal application used by Pulse Design to view messages received by its own professional Instagram account.

2. Information we access

When the Instagram account owner authorizes Pulse Inbox Monitor through Meta, the application may access:

• basic professional Instagram account information, including account ID and username;
• Instagram conversations and messages received by the authorized account;
• message participant information made available by Meta, such as username and account ID;
• message timestamps and message content.

The application does not request passwords, payment information or private data from unrelated Instagram accounts.

3. How we use information

We use the information solely to help the authorized Pulse Design account owner check whether a customer or prospective customer has replied. We do not use the application to sell personal data, build advertising profiles or contact users automatically.

4. Storage and retention

The Instagram access token is stored locally on the account owner's Windows device and encrypted for that Windows user. The application retrieves message information when a manual check is requested.

Pulse Inbox Monitor does not maintain a separate online database of Instagram messages. Any business notes manually retained by Pulse Design are kept only for legitimate customer communication and operational record keeping.

5. Sharing of information

We do not sell, rent or trade personal information. Information may be processed by Meta as the provider of the Instagram platform and by service providers required to operate our website or comply with legal obligations.

6. Security

We apply reasonable safeguards appropriate to a small internal tool, including encrypted local token storage, restricted account access and read-only application behavior. No method of electronic storage or transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

7. Your rights and data deletion

You may ask what information we retain about you, request correction or request deletion by contacting us. Instructions are available on our Data Deletion page.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the application or legal requirements change. The latest version will always be published at this URL with its effective date.
